Exporting from Mexico
Request an export quote with the goods, destination and delivery terms in view. We review the Mexican-side shipment and capture whether you also need a US-side customs handoff.
Describe the export
Prepare the product description, origin, buyer, destination, approximate value and transport plan. Keep invoice, packing information and any prior export records ready for review.
Review the declaration and sector checks
SAT’s padrón de exportadores sectorial (sectoral exporter registry) guidance ties registration to listed tariff classifications. Ask whether your goods fall within those sectors and how the export pedimento (customs declaration) will be prepared.

Coordinate origin documents and the handoff
Identify any certificate-of-origin request from the buyer and ask which supporting evidence is needed. For a US destination, tell us whether US-side brokerage is already arranged; this site covers the Mexican shipment review.
- Name the person who supplies product and origin information.
- Align the transport booking, Mexican-side release and destination contact.
